LIGHTING UP LIVES

When the Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund (CFHF) launched their Family Revitalise campaign, IDILIQ contributed a substantial number of weeks of free accommodation at resorts in Spain, Turkey, and Orlando. Our partnership with Dreams Come True went beyond simply providing holiday prizes for auctions and raffles. We orchestrated two large group trips to Regal Oaks Resort in Orlando. This initiative offered seriously ill children, who often spend extended periods in hospital settings, a beacon of hope and excitement to look forward to.

FAMILY HEALING AND NEW BEGINNINGS

Kind Holidays also embraced smaller, family-initiated charities, such as The Bodie Hodges Foundation, which was set up by Nick and Donna Hodges following the death of their infant son. Nick, Donna and their daughter benefited from time away to deal with their loss at a friend’s holiday home. As Nick says:

“It was one of the toughest weeks we’ve ever had. But it also did us good. It gave us time as a family, with our 5-year-old daughter, to try and start to rebuild, and create new memories. It made a big difference to the way we started our grieving process.”
