KIND HOLIDAYS WINS PRESTIGIOUS JUNIOR TRAVEL AWARD
The Kind Holidays Initiative is delighted to announce it has won the Gold Editor’s Choice award for ‘Best Unique Stay for Families’ at the 2026 Junior Travel Awards.
This significant recognition celebrates our mission to provide free, restorative holidays to families facing profound challenges. The judging panel was deeply moved by our initiative, which has already gifted over 2,000 stays to families coping with illness, disability, bereavement, or military service.

Kind Holidays
Outstanding Editor’s Choice Award
Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior Magazine, commented, “The entire Junior team felt this entry truly deserved an Outstanding Editor’s Choice Award. For some, a family holiday is a given; for others, it’s an out-of-reach luxury – and for the recipients of these holidays, it can offer much-needed respite and nurture. Junior fully supports this initiative and hopes this award shines some light on something the entire travel industry can get behind.”

Hospitality industry
Inspiring generosity
This award comes as Kind Holidays prepares for a significant expansion. In 2026, we will be rolling out across Wyndham franchisee resorts in the UK, Germany, India, Turkey, and Romania. Grant Peires, founder of Kind Holidays, shared his vision: “Kind Holidays aims to make generosity standard in the hospitality industry, showing the transformative power of kindness to both recipients and donors.” This accolade strengthens our resolve to inspire change across the hospitality sector. We believe every holiday can be an opportunity to make the world a little kinder.
